When Titanique set sail as an Off-Broadway underdog, the challenge was clear: transform a quirky, basement-level production into a must-see theatrical event. As the art director, I led the creative vision and execution for the show’s branding, ensuring every touchpoint—from printed materials to social media content—captured its over-the-top, campy spirit while driving engagement and ticket sales.
Our strategy hinged on world-building. We didn’t just design assets; we crafted an immersive, fan-fueled experience that extended beyond the stage. Through bold, playful visuals and a content-driven campaign, we amplified the show’s “kooky krazy” essence, turning Céline Dion fandom into a marketing engine. This approach resonated with audiences, fueling word-of-mouth buzz and social sharing that helped Titanique secure its place as an Off-Broadway sensation.
The results? A sold-out run, an extended Off-Broadway life, and industry recognition—including the 2023 Gold Clio Award in the Live Entertainment: Fan Engagement category.
