Bringing Dear Evan Hansen to Life: A Digital-First Brand Strategy
With its deeply personal storytelling and devoted fanbase, Dear Evan Hansen wasn’t just a Broadway musical—it was a cultural movement. The challenge was to create a digital and experiential strategy that extended the show’s emotional impact beyond the stage, engaging audiences in meaningful ways across multiple platforms.
As part of the creative team, I developed a suite of interactive and visually compelling assets, including social media content, website design, and downloadable iOS stickers that allowed fans to integrate the show into their daily conversations. But the innovation didn’t stop there.
To push the boundaries of engagement, we introduced augmented reality experiences and 3D brand animations, bringing key visual elements of Dear Evan Hansen to life in ways that felt immersive and deeply personal. These activations gave fans new ways to interact with the brand, whether through AR-enhanced digital content or dynamic animations that reimagined the show’s signature aesthetic.
By strategically blending traditional digital media with cutting-edge interactive design, we reinforced Dear Evan Hansen’s connection with its audience, ensuring its message of hope and belonging resonated well beyond the theater doors.
